• Known as a "silicate-solubilizing bacterium"—releases potassium, silicon, and phosphate ions from poorly soluble soil minerals, increasing nutrient availability at the plant root
• Produces abundant extracellular polysaccharides (EPS), improving soil aggregate structure and water retention while supporting rhizosphere colonization
